Hi! My name is Mindy.

I am a graphic designer who graduated from Ateneo De Manila University in the Philippines in 2012, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Information Design.



Years of loving art and design got me to take a Fine Arts major in college which led me to my creative thesis (learn about it here), and designing a milk tea business (here).



Since graduating, I based myself in Los Angeles and did an internship with a handbag company named Timi and Leslie where I mostly made textile repeat patterns. I went on to become a Fashion Design Assistant for Rhapsody Clothing (in which I designed their hang tags, labels, and business cards), and for Julia Fashion, my current company. Part-time, I work for a dance startup company founded by Aimee Lee Lucas as a graphic designer and operations manager.



Right now, as far as design is concerned, I am particularly interested in delving more into typography. I like doodling, working on kid-friendly designs and experimenting with colors. I especially love working on projects that push me to think creatively and allow me to put heart into the process so that the final designs come out vibrant, unique, and with personality.



Outside of my graphic design world, I am into theater, music, photography, dancing, singing, the beach, and my friends and family.
